Hi Terry,

Thanks for blogging again and sharing your thoughts.
When you wrote "that answer was helpful to me" did you mean my initial reply to you or the answer I recently gave to Janice?
BTW; you are right in that the exercises do make many readers have a happier outlook just by the meditation and instructions.

That answer was helpful to me. I reread chapter 11 this weekend after reading your answer, and I got even more out of it the second time. I know that making the future happen is the most important purpose or message in the book, but I also find that the exercises, which I do every night, relaxes me so much. I had a lot of worry and a fair amount of anger (mostly aimed at my ex). I dropped them both and am making great strides.

Hi Janice,

Thank you for blogging again.

As usual, you have excellent questions. Here are my answers to both; I’ll start with the first: 1) “Why shouldn't one be too specific about envisioning one's future reality?
The general advice is this…when you envision something broader, more generic, if you will, you open up more channels to make the link. When you envision something specific, you limit your responses to your wishes. Let me give you two examples, the first is more specific to something you mentioned another time that you were interested in doing; my second example is quite general. For the first, imagine that you want to produce an illustrated novella that is successfully received. To make that happen, you should envision all aspects of your life as if that has already happened. For example, you could imagine being on shows talking about it, answering blogs from readers, getting checks from your publisher, seeing your book in print, learning about people’s positive experience reading it, etc. Conversely, you should not be too specific or restrictive in your focus, such as imagining that Harper Collins published it and gave you a $25,000 advance. Here’s a second, much shallower but perhaps easier to understand example: Say a man wanted to have a certain attractive woman notice him and begin a relationship with him. He could specifically focus on all aspects of that happening as I have explained in the book, and he would indeed increase the odds that that would happen. However, keeping in mind that the flow of energy adheres to the principle of reciprocity, if that particular woman had no interest whatsoever in that man, his wish would not come to fruition. However, if he focused on having a fulfilling relationship with an attractive woman (following the guidelines for meditation in the book), he would open up all the channels. In doing so, all women who were seeking a man with his attributes would be on his wavelength, so to speak. Then the likelihood of encountering his ideal would be much greater.

Now, your second question: If you start to get specific pictures, should you let them flow or try to change them? No, absolutely you should go with the flow. If you want something very specific, such as the two examples I gave, and it seems that you are attracting exactly that…by all means, let it happen. Sometimes the best match is very specific. However, keep in mind that a single target requires more precision.

I have had readers tell me they got exactly what they focused on; others reported that their dreams were answered in a more oblique way, but, in the end, this is what they really wanted.

I hope those answers make sense and help you recah your dreams.

Thank you for sharing those questions with other readers.

Hi Joe--

I've been working on the meditations suggested in your book, but I have some questions about the specificity of envisioning one's future reality. 1) Why shouldn't one be too specific about envisioning one's future reality? Does it constrict chi or something? 2) If you start to get specific pictures, should you let them flow or try to change them?

Thanks so much for your reply in advance.

Good energy,
Janîce

Hi Terry,

Thanks for the blog comments. I appreciate your feedback. Actually, the other book, i.e., the original, is not a great deal more complex than the one you are reading; it's just much bigger being over 500 pages. Your version is about 170 pages less. I know there is a lot of information in even this shorter version. I have had that feedback from many readers; that is why I am underway with a third, very simplified version which is slated at 199 pages. This is only possible because it references the first two. This trilogy will give readers three choices, very complete, complete, but abridged, and highly-simplified. I suspect that the newest one (Ordaining Reality in Brief: The Shortcut to your Future) will sell the most as it will not require any background in science at all; it will also be quite inexpensive).
Many readers will still opt for the original and the one you are reading as those versions explain the principles in more detail, which is what many readers want.

Keep me and other bloggers posted on how you are doing with this edition.

I just wanted to say how much I am learning. I'm about halfway through the "simplified" book. Boy, the other one must have been for geniuses! However, I’m following it and I really do see where it’s going. I’ll probably write up something when I’m done. There’s nothing like this anywhere from what I can tell. Is there?

Dear Lolo,

I thought I had answered your blog, but I think I did it via email. I'll respond again to share this with others. First, thanks for the wonderful post on Amazon; they are very helpful and appreciated. Second, I am delighted that your boyfriend (I hope he still is) is or is becoming a convert. Welcome him to the enlightened side. Third, I encourage any more feedback from either of you as it is truly enjoyable for me and helpful to others reading the blog to get readers thoughts and experiences.

I am a reader of the newer, smaller book. It's what I've been looking for to arm me for debates with people who think there is nothing to the world of the paranormal. I argue with my ex boyfriend all the time about this. He became a convert once I showed him your book. I posted a write up of this account on Amazon. This was so refreshing to get an actual answer and response.

Hi Warren,
Welcome to the blog. I just checked B&N; thank you so much for your kind excerpt. I know this may sound self-serving, but I entirely agree with your comments and insight. I thank you for buying the book, but even more so for your useful feedback. In my mind, the blog is the one of the most effective forums for readers wondering what the book is all about, and more important, if it’s for them.
Thank you again for helping to guide others, and please keep us informed on how it is working for you.

Hi,
Finished the book last night and just started the "program". Boy, I don't know where to start. I wrote a review in B&N today (where I bought the book). It was fun, interesting, thought-provoking, and, I hope, useful for making dreams come true (I've got a lot of high hopes). Just thought I'd chime in on the blog too.
